50 anni e non li dimostra!!!

Londra, marzo 1963, esattamente 50 anni fa vi fanno pensare a qualcosa?!?

a qualcuna di voi sicuramente si ad altre forse ancora no... e se aggiungessi un altro indizio come "Mary Quant"?        
London, March 1963, exactly 50 years ago, do you remind anything???
I'm sure someone can remember but someone else no, maybe I can help you suggesting "Mary Quant"?                                                                                           

Beh firse ci siete arrivate perchè Mary Quant sta a minigonna come il cacio sui maccheroni!!!

Quindi, tornando a noi, nel marzo del '63 fu messa in vetrina proprio dalla stilista Mary Quent(descritta come svaporata e festaiola) nel suo negozio "Bazaar" a Londra la prima minigonna, divenuta poi uno dei simboli degli anni 60 capace di rivoluzionare la moda di quegli anni.

let's go now...in March '63 the frist mini was displayed by Mary Quant, party loving fashion designer in her Bazaar's  shop window.

Moda, quella fino all'epoca, fatta di guanti, tacchi, corsetti, tutti capi considerati un po' troppo scomodi e scuri.
Gli snob sostenevano fosse figlia di André Courrèges, designer francese degli oblò e del razionalismo sartoriale; in verità, invece, affermava Mary Quant: "né io né Courrèges abbiamo avuto l'idea della minigonna. È stata la strada a inventarla".

 Insomma questo capo che all'epoca fece molto scalpore nel corso degli anni ha subito vari cambiamenti, accorciata ulteriormente, allargata, ristretta, colorata, decorata ed è diventata un must have del guardaroba femminile!

E' proprio vero... 50 anni e non li dimostra!!!

it was one of the icon of 60's, definitely it changed the fashion that included gloves, high hlls, corsets... allthis items were conseidered too dark and unconfortable.
all the posh people tought that the mini's idea was by Andre Couregges, a French designer but one times Mary Quant admited that it was the street who invent the miniskirt, not her not Courèges.
this item  who make a lot of rumors around it also changed along the time... shorter, longer, decorated... it is absolutely a must have in all the wardrobe...
i think everybody has one...
it 's complitely thrue... it's 50 years old but it looks so young...

La Birkin e la storia che non tutti sanno

Questo é un piccolo esperimento che ci è venuto in mente durante un giretto pomeridiano per negozi fantasticando a volte sul nostro prossimo acquisto, una vera e propria rubrica sui pezzi iconici della grande moda; storia, curiosità e chi più ne ha più ne metta con la speranza che anche voi che ci seguite commentiate integrando quelle che sono le nostre conoscenze!!!
Per incominciare una delle borse per eccellenza, il sogno nel cassetto di molte, me per prima che ogni volta per qualsiasi ricorrenza cerco volontari per regalarmela, la mitica BIRKIN di Hermès!!!!!

La Birkin e la storia che non tutti sanno

Ci sono almeno più di un paio di storie riguardanti la nascita della birkin ma in assoluto la mia preferita é quella che la mia insegnante di personalmshopping Carla ci ha raccontato nell' ultimo corso ovvero che la famosissima attrice Jane Birkin stava volando da Parigi a Londra ed aveva al suo fianco jean LouisDumas stilista di Hermès appunto.
Jane aveva con se la sua Kelly ma era stracolma delle sue cose e della piccola figlia, era lampante che l'attrice necessitasse di una nuova borsa, più grande della Kelly ma con il medesimo stile e in solo pochi giorni venne alla luce la Birkin!!!

There are several story about the frist birkin but my favourite is the One that my personal shopping teacher Carla told us in the last course...
The well know actres Jane birkin was flying from paris to london whit the Hermès designer jean louis dumas and she was wearing her Kelly but it was too full of Jane & her doughter's staff, it was very clear that she needed a new bag bigger that her Kelly but at the same time also stylish...only some days after born the iconical birkin!!!

Assolutamente a mano, non dobbiamo dimenticare che la borsa é stata creata per contenere molte cose e dunque si presuppone possa essere pesante dunque non dimenticatelo e ricordate sempre di portarla a mano.

Studied to contein A lot staff, from work like for the bussiness woman or in jane's case for her and the child it really doesn t matter...but remember to wear it By hand!!!

Curiosità e gossip

Victoria Beckham ne ha una vera e propria collezione, diversi colori e materiali, si dice che ne possieda per più di 120000£, beata lei e non solo per avere David come marito.
Lindsay Lohan ha invece perso all'aereoporto di Heatrow la sua Birkin con 10000$ di oggetti preziosi per poi ritrovarla dopo un primo grande spavento.
Altro caso di birkin dispersa l'anno scorso a Firenze, due donne stavano aspettando entrambe di pagare la propria Birkin e le due borse sono state erroneamente confuse, solo che in una c erano 10000€ e nell' altra assolutamente nulla.
Jane Birkin ha uno scontro extra del 20% in tutte le boutique Hermès.

Victoria Beckham has proprly a collection of birkin, different colour and materiale more than 120000£... Lucky her & not only for David!!!
Same years ago lindsay lohan lose her birkin whit 10000$ of luxury object, after a big spavento she found it.
Anothar case of missing birkin, last year in florence two woman were on queque waiting for pay the birkin,change of bag at the cass but in One birkin the re were10000€ & in the athar absolutely nothing.
Jane birkin had an extra 20% off in all the hermes's boutique.

There is a real strange link between me and Saint Patrick's day.. I mean last year NY, now London...wherever I am in this day there is a parade waiting for me... it's wake up in the morning and thinking at a good shopping or at my favourite city ready to visit but no, it isn' t possible because a big parade is stopping everything!!!!!!!
Anyway at the end I'm always in the frist lane to have a look at all this funny Irish people whit their costumes and songs and it is really nice!!!!!

c'è un reale strano rapporto tra me e il giorno di San Patrizio...l'anno scorso NY ed ora Londra...ovunque mi trovi c'è una parata ad aspettarmi... è svegliarmi la mattina pensando a del buon shopping o alla mia città preferita da visitare ma no, non è possibile perchè una parata sta bloccando tutta la città!!!
Comunque alla fine finisce sempre che mi ritrovo in prima fila a guardare tutti questi simpaticissimi irlandesi con i loro tipici costumi e canzoni ed è molto carino!!!

Pink is...Schiap!!!!!!!!!!

Questa tonalità di colore che almeno una volta tutte abbiamo indossato ed amato è quella che in assoluto vanta il maggior numero di nomi per poterla definire, si va dal rosa caldo al rosa stravagante al rosa shocking quando in verità questo frizzante colore ha un nome e un cognome... 
ROSA SCHIAPARELLI, proprio graqzie ad Elsa Schiaparelli!!!!
Per chi non lo sapesse facciamo un attimo di riepilogo storico-modaiolo su chi fosse la Schiaparelli, anche se sono sicura di trovarvi ferrate sull' argomento.
Elsa nasce a Roma nel 1875 in una famiglia intelletuale e facoltosa ma la sua vita di certo non si puo definire facilissima, un matrimonio sbagliato, una figlia malata, un pellegrinaggio per il mondo che la porta a londra, new york e parigi...Parigi è proprio qui che la Schiaparelli impara a conoscere ed amare la moda, si dice che il colpo di fulmine tra Elsa e la moda sia nato nell'atelier di Paul Poiret e da li inizia a creare i suoi abiti, abiti sportivi  di ispirazione cubista e surrealista e dal 1934inizia a  lanciare  anche i suoi profumi tra cui appunto Schiap la cui confezione rosa accesissimo dai natali al nome di questo colore!!!!

Elsa was born in 1875 in Rome by a prestigous family but her life is not very easy, a bad wedding, an ill doughter, a travel around the world , New York, London, Paris...

It was in Paris where she felt in love whit fashion, her item could be describe as surrelistic and cubistic and it was from 1934 that she got started with parfums including Schiaparelli, it was so pink that they need to find a right name at this colour... schiapparelli pink, that is the only one...xxx

questo è il primo di una serie di post che hanno come protagonista New York... qui potrete trovare notizie e curiosità che noi abbiamo raccolto con duro lavoro nei mesi precedenti la partenza per la Grande Mela!!!
Prima Fermata: Grand Central Station
1) Main Concourse l'orologio a quattro faccie che tutti guardano ha un innestimabile valore essendo fatto di preziosissimo opale.
2)Nel Dining Concourse troverete la Whispering Gallery, in assoluto l' angolo più romantico della Grand Central, dotata di grandi qualità acustiche vi basterà posizionarvi agli angoli diametralmente opposti e sussurare per sentirvi forte e chiaro.
3)La Casa Bianca fece costruire un binario sotterraneo ad uso del presidente Roosvelt al fine di nascondere la poliomelite che lo costringeva su di una redia a rotelle.
4)IL tabellone degli orari mente e di un minuto per dare maggiore tempo ai viaggiatori in ritardo.

frist stop: Grand Central station
1)The Main Concourse the big clocl with four faces has a big value because it is made by a precious opale.
2)The Whispering Gallery is the most romantic place in the station, staying in the opposite corner and speacking in low voice you can understand each others very clearly.
3)there were an underground platform only for us president Roosvelt.
4)the time table is lying, only to give more time.
